Calm after the storm

Amazing how quickly weather can change in Scotland. This bridge over the River Cart in Pollok Park always makes for a good photo opportunity. I liked the way the morning sun reflected it in the water.
A short walk from this tranquil scene, trees that had been snapped at the base by this week's storms were strewn everywhere. What's in store next week I wonder - snow, a heatwave, who knows?
