Alpacas

I went down to the Borders today to see a friend who lives just outside Melrose. This herd of alpacas lives nearby. They are kept with a flock of sheep - possibly to keep foxes away - foxes do not like alpacas and alpacas do not like foxes. Apparently, the mere smell of alpacas is enough to keep foxes away. Or maybe they are kept for their wool.
