Sunrise

I took this, just after 0800 hours this morning and before we went shopping and planned to take some more pictures in Cambridge, but did not do so. To the left of the picture, you can still see all the red berries on the tree; these are usually eaten by mid-December.

I shall probably take some pictures of Cambridge later this week, Mr A's operation was cancelled for Tuesday 10 January and put back to Tuesday 17 January, ten minutes later they changed it again and it is now Thursday 12 January; this is the fifth date we have been given! So there may not be any Cambridge pictures later in the week, but somehow I think it will happen this time. I am usually a pessimist so will also not be surprised if it gets changed again.

We shopped until we dropped as they say and finally arrived home around 1630 hours. There was a glorious sunset as we drove home and I had asked Mr A to capture it if possible; he was doing his assignment and did not even realise that it had got dark!
