Project for my niece

My niece will be 14 at the end of January and I am making her a pair of Veylas - fingerless gloves with a fancy cuff and cute buttons.

I began them this afternoon and am liking the pattern already.

Finished second book on the Kindle today and had a nice long chat with a friend who popped in for a cuppa.
