Ladies who lunch.

That'd be my mother and me although the blip is just of my mum.

I feel like I've been a bit lost in space recently. I had a day where I retreated apart from the basics and not only slept on and off through the day but surprisingly right through the night as well.

Then yesterday I completely missed taking a photo on time. So I made sure I managed it today. I haven't even been able to reply to anyone for the last few days as I've felt so out of it.

Then I read something online, nothing exciting really just something that got me feeling in charge of my life again and so I got back in the driving seat and began contacting people and getting things set the way I want them.

I've sorted the transport out to wait until I contact them about collecting mum for day care and I've got the form to hand in when we go for an x ray.

I've been round to the neighbour where our roofing landed and she's totally fine and said they'd deal with the debris and all is well. She was just relieved that it wasn't off her chimney as she'd feared.

So today I have been sitting with mum enjoying tv, games and food. I even had a sleep on top of her bed for a little while this afternoon. I swear she has the most comfortable bed I've ever been on.

I've got the stuff to not just repair the damaged roof but to replace the lot and have it all matching and looking better.

And I managed to go round to my Nephew's yesterday to drop off a card for his fiance as it is her birthday today.

I think I can afford to relax and feel I've achieved something this weekend.
