Homeward bound

This appears to be a summer shot of a glamorous Mediterranean or Caribbean cruise.

The reality was that I went to the Isle of Wight last night to take my father home after the funeral etc.

This was the morning ferry back to Lymington (it was 6 degrees and a cold South Westerly wind!)

It is always a sad moment as I have been making similar journeys for over 50 years and you never know if it is the last time that you will see him alive.

The sunlight and sea always create a lovely shot and the phone camera is probably at its best with this sort of shot
