La dolce vita

Now we're really getting into this routine. The cats are excluded, their routine consists of sleeping eating and preening, in any order. But Mum and I between us have honed the morning coffee making, croissant retrieving, driving into work & shop opening malarky. The time is just flying by though. I've been here a week! Out for dinner at a friends - Carrie - who has two of her nephews staying, helping out with the renovations, and the bringing up of 11 whippet puppies. So we had a beautiful meal, with scallops, cooked from a kitchen that lives complete in an antique cupboard, amid a sea of puppies. A most unusual and highly enjoyable experience.
