Steve managed to get home in time to share a lovely evening Christmas meal. He fancied Rum Baba's for pudding so after a bit of research I found a recipe so eventually managed to produce a decent result. A bit faffy to make but not difficult really and it took us back in time to the good ole 70's. More rum will be used next time though! Steak for the main course - perhaps it should have been Steak Diane in keeping with the 'theme'! Can't think of anymore 70s classics - there must be loads!

So after a lovely meal we opened our pressies. Early start for us both Christmas Day - Steve for work and me for preparing Dinner for 8 which was eventually packed up and transported to my sisters. She loves to host Christmas but refuses to cook! At least I managed the journey without spilling a drop of gravy! Quite an achievement I reckon!
