Cutting corners

We went in to Newport today. LadyWL has to go the bank. Which is apparently an old fashioned thing to do!

We stopped in a few shops along the way as ewe do. In one shop LadyWL & her daughter were looking at a display but were standing on different sides of it. When, suddenly a lady went flying by. Luckily LadyWL's daughter broke her fall but the lady still ended up on the floor.

What amazed me was the reaction of passer byes! Most went on their way. Luckily LadyWL & a kind gentleman rushed to help the lady. The shop staff were slow to react. Other customers carried on shopping around the Lady. The lady had tripped on the edging that had been used to join the Lino and carpet which was s metal ridge with a bit of taping on it. It was quite impressive to watch the man carefully & gently reason with shop staff & LadyWL advise the staff to put a warning to prevent other customers falling.

I'm shewer the lady who fell will have a swollen knee tomorrow which will be quite stiff. I know ewe wouldn't walk past someone who was in need. Would ewe?

PS. LadyWL & her daughter were so traumatised by the experience they had to make the next stop a coffee shop!! Hee Hee!
