The children in York. We went by train, a long but enjoyable day together with Jorvik and Railway Museum visits packed in.

This picture is outside Clifford's Tower, which we found by chance whilst looking for somewhere sunny to eat our sandwiches. It stands on a little hill, with plaques describing some seriously unpleasant history. It's all very nice now!

I would write more but I fear I'll fall asleep at the keyboard, for all the right reasons.
