Fairly uneventful trip to Birmingham and back - nigh on 400 miles! The only thing to avoid is the M6 / M1 junction which is closed and hence creates a queue several miles long eastwards along the A14. Other than that, the traffic was mainly light. Are people saving petrol?

Oh, I forgot to mention that today I became an uncle again. For the 11th time !! My sister in law gave birth to Mathilde at 7.45am this morning, at home in SW France - her 7th child, and hopefully last:)
