A day spent in the garden cutting back, pulling out and burning/recycling bushes, shrubs, bulbs and trees in preparation for fence replacement next week. The garden is such a quagmire, I think I should look into getting some landscaping work done to improve drainage - or, at least, improve aesthetic quality of the mess.

Walked down late afternoon to 'Every little helps' to get ingredients for cholesterol-bursting dinner tonight. Have agreed the challenge, however, to complete my inaugural 5k Parkrun on 28 January, so better get the trainers dusted down..
