Castlehead

This photo is of Skiddaw, one of the hills i would have liked to of climbed on my trip to the lakes. But due to winds of over 100mph across even the lower fells i had to content myself with walking round Derwent Water.

Although after the 1.5 hour trip turned into a 5.5 hour trip with events including; shedding a wheel after having new tyres fitted and ending up in a snowstorm in Weardale due to the A66 being closed. I was just glad to have got the the lakes at all!!!
