Yesterdays' plums became today's jam. Boy, they took some cooking and stirring, however the result is a rich amber jam that tastes very nice albeit with a top note of basil. Could be due to the fact that the scraper used to stir was used the day before to make pesto! hmmmm
In the past few weeks I have made raspberry, plum and strawberry jam, and lemon butter! What next! My pantry would be full but I am finding that jars of jam make nice gifts too!
