I was a huge fan of T-Rex when I was a teenager but who would think, so many years later, that I'd have a gong to bang.

This gong marks the first DIY job I've managed to complete since breaking my wrist. Not that it was particularly difficult - one screw - but it was still a bit of an effort.

We have quite a few Arts & Crafts pieces dotted around the house. This was bought a while ago and has just been waiting for me to hang it. It's better than the old method of announcing dinner.
