Free Day

A completely lazy day, just loafing around. I'd got it into my head that it was Thursday rather than Wednesday - and when I realise my mistake, it feels like an extra day's holiday.

We have the pool to ourselves for ages, and although George hasn't quite mastered the death-defying leaps that Matt's into, he's getting more and more comfortable in the water (and, just as importantly, it doesn't seem to be making his excema worse).

I've finished all my books (especially enjoyed After Dark and Michael Tolliver Lives) and now I'm starting on one of Mo's, West Coast. Time for a grappa? Oh yes, I think so...
