Spectacled Bear

As I had to drive up to Manchester for a meeting tomorrow morning we decided to get up early and make a day of it.

We went to Chester zoo (as our Bristol zoo membership gets us in free). It was a bit overcast but we had a great day - the spectacled bear being my highlight (sadly the tiger triplet cubs were off having their second set of jabs so we didn't see them).

Now safely tucked up in the travel inn and going to watch a bit of dancing on ice before popping out to find some dinner and possibly a glass of wine or three :)
