Green shoots

We went up to the allotment and did a bit of work, mostly grass-clipping. In January. The stuff just hasn't stopped growing. And it was the first time I'd seen the devastation wrought by the storm on several neighbours sheds and greenhouses.

In the foreground is some garlic, Early Purple Wight I think, as recommended by Eco Dad. So far, so good. There are some broad beans coming up beyond. Please try to ignore all the untidy grass in the background.
