Daddy and Daughter Day? Daddy and Daughter Day?

Today was a nice refreshing daddy and daughter day. Ewan went off to Grannies with Mummy so we more or less had the run of the place to ourselves. It's not that I don't love spending time with Ewan and/or both of them but you get a different experience when you only have to pour your attention in one direction.

It was an early start for us with Bethany's first regimented swimming lesson. We'd heard we'd have to go onto a waiting list for several months but went up to the newly opened and refurbished leisure centre and here we are fresh out the pool. I didn't really need to go in but took the opportunity for a wee swim to make sure she settled in okay. She did and enjoyed it.

The rest of the day was spent negotiating the public transport system to get to a birthday party in Dunfermline. We decided to scooter as it relieves me of carrying duties and I can just push Bethany along when required. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable day.
