Getting late
Today was a very Blip-able day. And yet, somehow I found myself reluctant to press the shutter release. Or even to take out the camera, which I did take around with me all day...
The morning saw me travel to Tranent, where I was leading worship amongst the Methodist congregation that meets in the day centre in the middle of town. To get there, you drive past the old church building - now a boxing gym! They are clearly good tenant of the centre, as they have been asked to move with it - when the new building is finished, a short stroll down the road.
As usual, I followed the lectionary - picking up some themes of Baptism (thoughts from yesterday fed purposefully into this).
After the service I visited Toby - literally a casualty of Christmas day. I could have shot some images of his cast, or other things about the flat (amazingly, the first time I had visited it). But I didn't.
So that left the end of the evening. I was spared a Blip of my spinning washing as I remembered that I should go and check on the bikes, one of which I'll need to use to get to work tomorrow. I'd planned to get to an office in Dunfirmline, but will settle for a closer one as the car is temporarily out of action...
