It 'ain't over 'til it's over
Apparently yesterday was Christmas in the Russian Orthodox calendar.
I'm making the most of it, as I'm just not ready to move on. We had so many guests and engagements over the holidays that we're only now getting to enjoy the peace and relaxation of a warm, clean, tidy and festive home.
I also know that as soon as those decorations are down it'll be full steam ahead with the big kitchen project and frankly, it can wait another day.
For tonight it was partridge, roast and mash tatties and yes, brussel sprouts, for dinner. Just waiting for the Christmas pudd to heat up to complete the Yuletide scene. Ahhh, bliss.......
