it has been an odd day....

woken by insistent Protestant bells.

lunched on veal (a first, trust me) wrapped in bacon and cognac imbued cream.

started watching a Colin Farrell film with lots of shooty-shooty,

and penultimately became mildly obsessed with how to do a French Manicure.

an ultimatum based row may be imminent, as the night is but a pup,( as we say...)
