Milton

After a day of chilling yesterday, we decided to get out and about in the fresh air today. Wandlebury was planned but we made a last minute decision to go to Milton instead.

We were joined by Alfie and Poppy, two lovely children who are a pleasure to have around.

Went to prezzo in Newmarket for lunch but it was fully booked. The waiter said we would be looking at twenty minutes and being rather peckish, we decided to go to Ask in saffron walden instead. It's only whilst writing this that I realise saffron walden is a half hour ish drive from Newmarket. Make sense of that.

Anyway, lovely calzone and the usual palaver watching May and Elliot eat their carbonara. The technique seems to be to hold it high above the head and then gradually lower down to somewhere around the mouth area. The mouth is often substituted for the face, chin, coat or floor.

I think it is best to just let May get on with it at the mo. she seems to be very sensitive about everything and I dare say, she is entering a new stage in her growing up:(

Back home for the traditional house trashing while myself and Alfie enjoyed the pre recorded Manchester derby.
