Panis Biscotus

Today I had tea & biscuits with my next door neighbours. This is the last of the Xmas indulgences & my New Year resolution No2 starts tomorrow - thou shalt not eat fattening foods!

Biscuit fact - The British use of the word biscuit is very meaningful, as it comes from the Latin "panis biscotus"or "bescoit" in French, "bread twice cooked".
