Hi and I left the kids with the family today and circumnavigated the island of Savaii (on which we are straying) by car. It is 200K and takes about 4 hours to drive. The roads are narrow, rough in places, and you have to share them with a few other card, pigs, dogs, school kids, and anyone that walks anywhere - which is everyone.
We went to evaluate some accommodation we planned to move to next week. It wasn't good, so we're making alternate plans.
This house was nearby and resents a typical Samoa house. No walls, graveyard in the front yard, washing lying to dry on the lava rocks, but all generally well kept - or at least the grounds.
