when we are not sure, we are alive
Graham Greene
As the creative juices were not quite bubbling, just the coffee, I've been reading all day. Nothing else for it but to photograph my lair. I had taken a few aerial shots balancing on the top of the sofa. In the end the less daredevil shots at eye-level turned out better. This picture made me realise that the paper bird mobile above my desk might be a subconscious interior design plea for some thoughts to take flight..
As it is the birds in my brain, the paper cranes on the mobile and those outside have been remarkably quiet. The latter are point blank refusing to use the lovely feeder I've put up. B*stards. There's just the odd eerie quiver in the ivy as some crawly mammal nicks the lot. Is it a rat? squirrel? A whole new species evolved in the enclosed tenement gardens from drunken tramps and wood pigeons? Not caught a glimpse yet but something is eating those poundland fat balls
