full moon

Happy Sunday everyone!! :)

I knew the full moon was coming and planned by taking my tripod to work with me today. I knew what time the moon was to rise, 4:48, and went to the boardwalk to wait. And wait. and wait. Finally, there it was!! Not the most impressive rising of the full moon but it was still pretty cool. It was a beautiful spring like sunny day here today. I believe it was 67 degrees (F). Wonderful!! The sky was crisp and clear for the moon rising. However, I forgot all I read about what are the best settings for photographing the moon. I knew I wanted a boat silhouette and reflection on the water. That, I got. But my moon is just a white circle. ugh. I have taken many great photos in the past of the rising moon. Oh well. I still kind of like this photo. I'm off to make pumpkin banana bread. YUMMY!!
