Blackberry Plate

Sicker than a dog. Where did that phrase originate from? Hubby and I are stinkin' sick today! Hung around the house all day coughing and hacking and blowing our noses. Went through two boxes of tissues. We are snot making machines. Ugh. Here's the scoop on the photo.

My paternal aunt, Geraldine Rarick, was a well known (at least in the china painter's world) teacher and china painter during the 60's, 70's and 80's. She even taught after retirement from her home in Arizona. A couple of years before her death she asked me what I would like of hers. I pointed to this plate on her wall and she gave it to me right then.
This hangs on my living room wall.
