Boschendal
The Boschendal Wine Estate dates back to 1685 when it was owned by French Huguenot, Jean le Long. Today it is one of the leading producers of red wine in South Africa having won numerous national and international awards. The beautifully restored Cape Dutch Manor House is filled with magnificent 17th and 18th century furniture and Ming porcelain and a superb restaurant is situated in the original cellar of the house. There are another 2 restaurants for more casual dining on the estate as well as idyllic, world class venues for weddings and functions.
