Frilly Toadstools

Today I planned to blip the first snowdrop; there is one in a sheltered spot by the front gates, which always comes through before the others. Although it has a tiny amount of white showing and I took a photograph, I decided against posting it.

I took this photograph of these frilly toadstools instead; there are more on Flickr. These were in the front garden and there were hundreds of them; they seem to have appeared overnight as sometimes happens.

A dull but not too cold a day here although it looks as though it might rain later.
