What colour's beeswax?

''Four candles?''

Until this year I'd have said beeswax was , well , beeswax coloured, a kinda beigey, buffy, neutrally, sort of shade. Stark white never in the memory of man, woman or small child.

That is, of course, until we bought some candles which purported to be beeswax. The beeswax coloured one is an old, common or garden, paraffin wax, candle.

Yippee. Today we got over the doorstep, unfortunately the memory card out of the camera didn't make it.

Either the MAC's playing sillybuggers or the software's gone wobbly. I get to the point where I click ''Download'' and that's when it freezes and I have to take the card out of the camera and stuff it into the card reader in order to download.

Add that to the fact that the sound just pleases itself when to appear and you can understand I'm not best chuffed.

There's a ''Shoot W/O card'' facility on the camera, it's on, but it appears to mean the camera will now go ''CLICK'' as if it's taken a shot, but without anything to actually show for the fact that it has done so.
