Ride at Rest

This is the view that I had while eating my carvery today.

The ride has been closed since the summer as there was an accident on it which badly hurt a woman and child, so it's stood looking as forlorn as this for some months now. The view in the distance is Sewerby and Flamborough.

I tried to take a shot of these cliffs later as it was getting dark, as the moon was huge and sitting low right over them. It looked stunning, but I wasn't able to capture the moment with my camera/ability..=(

After my lovely carvery I went to see Sherlock Holmes and The Game of Shadows at the adjoining cinema. I really enjoyed it and all in all I've had a grand day off!
