The Caledonian brewery

I walk past this brewery on my way to work most days this morning it was rather elegant looking basking in the morning sun...The Caley as the brewery is affectionately known was founded and built by George Lorimer and Robert Clark but was sold to Vaux in 1919 upon Lorimer's retirement, Clark having died in 1874. It has a history back to 1869! When Vaux ceased brewing operations altogether in 1999, Caledonian bought back the rights to the Lorimer & Clark...today it brews such beers as '80' and IPA my favourites along with others....i like how the tall chimney is wearing the shadow from an adjacent house chimney as a kind of belt
