I need a drink

I work at the Police information centre in the centre of town, tourists and the local public are encouraged to come in and ask questions and get help, the assumption being that it would be along the lines of Police type question,s and or information about their local plod, you would think!!, here is a genuine sample of this and last weeks.

1) Where can I get the cap on my tooth fixed?? (that was at 4pm today)

2) Where can I rent a pedal cycle???

3) Whats the best walk?, Water of Leith or Portobello Promenade??

4) A local man wanted to report vandalism to the new statue in the High st
(of Adam Smith) and took me out and pointed to the carefully carved name of Mr Smith which had been done by a stone mason, my informant stating "look he's even left his name".I believed he was genuine, but I had to ask him to leave.
