What I did today

Today was the last day of my holidays :( To make it special I used a voucher my sister & her family gave me at Christmas for a jewellery workshop. As I was the only person on it I got 1-2-1 tuition which was fab. As you can see I made a lovely set using Swarovski beads and fresh water pearls. Pretty chuffed with how they turned out especially as I've never tried it before.

Afterwards I popped over to see my parents (& show them what I made) and had the pleasure of being entertained by my nephew. As it was a sunny afternoon the pair of us went out for a walk giving my parents a break from the whirlwind and when I say a walk I mean more of an exploration Winnie-the-Pooh would be proud of.

Back home now and knitting.
