Mads' blip backup

I had another blip planned for today. A colleague Erin was in today from a charity the college has a partnership with on some courses so we could interview potential students for a January in-fill course we run in conjunction with them.

It's a six month taster course largely intended for people who's previous experience of education has not been good. The idea is to get them back into college part time for 1 semester and hopefully enable them to choose an NC or HN course to progress on to. We have had great success with students who have started out on this course in the past and I'm looking forward to getting going with this year's intake of students. I often think it's far more rewarding converting someone's outlook towards the opportunities education can present to them than it can be with students who are already highly committed and motivated.

I had planned to take a photo of Erin, however they didn't come out well and weren't flattering due to the light in the interview room.

Thankfully I had a, not particularly willing, model at home.
