Baby Brussels Sprouts Stalk

We share a backyard with our neighbors in Berkeley, and the four of us had a very successful garden this spring. We replanted our garden bed with winter seedlings and seeds several months ago, but then we all went on vacation with no one to water it. Now that we're back, everything seems to be waking back up. Pea plants are blossoming, teeny tiny heads of broccoli and cauliflower are visible, and this little plant is going to give birth to a giant Brussels sprouts stalk one day, I hope.
