The Carrie Bradshaw of Belsize Park

My friend Conny invited me round to photograph her work station, or more accurately, the vast pin board she has on her wall covered with visual references, many of them involving feathers and glitter.

More interesting than this was her HUGE collection of pink and red shoes, collected for Tango classes and sexy exploits.

I'm also impressed by her pristine flat and only find myself wondering later, just where she keeps her clutter.

I have a good two and a half hours with her and do several set ups, with studio lights and props, but this is my favourite because she's got fantastic legs and as a dancer was able to hold that position while I directed her to get the shot just right.

After this, in complete contrast I went to my first National Union of Journalists meeting, where amongst other things we were treated to a short film of a photo journalist having his testicles blown off in the Gaza Strip.
