Highway Chef?

Stopped for a coffee and a sandwich at a roadside cafe which is clearly a recently abandoned little chef.

At the risk of reading too much into a cheese and pickle sandwich, I'm rather amused by the contrast between the effort to present something in a reasonably attractive fashion (removing the crusts, the deliberate plating) and what were, by any standards, grim ingredients.
