Avonmouth

There are 2 ports at the mouth of the river Avon which is on the Severn estuary.

Avonmouth is on the north bank, and the Royal Portbury Docks are on the south.

On you way to the south west you may well have noticed the huge car storage compounds around the Royal Portbury. It looks like a giant car park. Residents of London mistake it for the M25.

Toyota, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Honda and General Motors all import their cars through here.

Toyota alone, have the capacity to store 19,700 cars here!
