Swan on the canal

This is one of the swans that greet us as we walk along the canal with Rona. They don't seem to be the least intimidated by dogs.

Been out and about this afternoon and eventually made it all the way round the wood. I don't know how many trees we clambered over or crawled under. We lost count. The estate men have at last started to fell some trees and remove others from the paths. The devastation is awful and I'm afraid the wood will take a long time to recover.
