Waipapa Landing

I took time out from the jobs to have a look at a boat this afternoon. It may have been a Blip if it was good but I am afraid not. I start a course for a Boatmasters Certificate next week and hope to have a craft to get out on the water by the spring/early summer.
All of which ahs nothing to do with this shot, apart from the boat connection. This is a spot we pass whenever we go to town, or in fact most places. It's called Waipapa Landing but I haven't found out why. There is a boat ramp, moorings which you can see, and racks for tenders which are stacked upright. It's a great facility, and one of many in this area.
Hence the desire for a boat !
