End of the shoot
Empty cartridges at the end of a day's pheasant shooting near Pickering, North Yorkshire. As the shell-casing says there were some high birds. I took home a brace of birds for my in-laws and a brace for two old friends who live on the edge of the Pennines a little way beyond Huddersfield.
I suppose this is a bit gimmicky but George, my son, showed me how to do it and I thought it would be fun to pick out a single cartridge.
