Sunset Piece

The dramatic shape in the foreground of this shot is a ragged old tree stump beside the road from Cluny to Monymusk, as it curves upwards away from the bridge at Bilbo just to the north of Cluny Castle. (The photo was taken just a few metres south of - and downhill from - the road junction from which I took last Wednesday's blip.)

The jagged shapes of the tree stump - its resemblance to a twisted human hand - and the dark, lenticular cloud brooding over it - call to mind this fascinating article on the Web.
