My Autistic boy

Just a corner of my eldest son's pinboard. He has Autism and this is his latest rosette from Riding for the Disabled.He's been going since he was about 9 years old and really enjoys it. ( Although as is often the case with Autism, sometimes it's hard to tell if he likes it at all!) Alongside it is his homemade laminated poster of strategies to help him stay calm in moments of stress. He's a huge motorsport fan, from Rallying to Touring cars to Formula 1, and I think he decided that as they have 'strategies' it might be a good idea for him to have some too. And, for the most part, they do actually work!
