Back on Track

Well, actually I haven't come "off track" so to speak. Over the Christmas period I actually lost 1lb in weight so all's good.

A month before Christmas my personal trainer when into hospital for an operation and needed recouperation time on his discharge. Whilst he made arrangements for his clients to use his gym, obviously he wasn't around to supervise and take the lesson. That was until tonight. He is making good progress in his recovery and tonight was my first "proper" workout of 2012.

I feel great after the hour I must admit. Work needs to remain in progress though because I have set myself "heights" on completing a challenge this year. The challenge is to walk up Snowdon and is being arranged by a friend of mine and there should hopefully be 12 of us all told.

Having spoken to my personal trainer about it tonight, he is of the opinion that I will be able to complete it no problem. For my part however, I want to lose more weight and be a lot fitter by the time of the challenge - August.

I will keep you updated of my progress but for now I am glad that my fitness training is finally "back on track" now that my trainer has returned and that should put me "on track" for Snowdon.
