Snow Skiing

A visit to the supermarket this evening. When that was complete I looked for a photo opportunity and settled on Aberdeen's ski slope.

A year ago a friend of mine gave a visit to the slope as a present, at the time there was about a 10 cm.s of snow lying around quite naturally, more in the highlands.. A bit unfortunate!

This year no snow so far, and the evening was fairly warm, about 7 deg when I took this. It was about 18:30. As far as I could tell there was only one person on the slopes at that time.

I am slightly surprised by the blue lighting. Is it just to make the white look whiter? Makes it quite attractive though. Though I suppose it could also be seen as a scar on the hill.
