New shoes, holiday excitement and sudden illness!

What a day!

Started off by going to my motherinlaws to drop Oliver off and take some washing, repair man coming tomorrow!
Then came home and pottered about until I picked amber up from school,
Went to buy Harry new shoes straight after school, they are cruisers and are a size 5g, how amazingly cute is he????
Oliver was back when we got back and he was moany and complaining of a sore pee pee. Took his temp and it was 38.8, gave calpol, 30mins later it was 39, I panicked, phoned nhs24 and they got me an ooh appointment within 30 mins.
The dr was amazing and said he had a wee bit of a red ear but in the urine sample I brought brought showed he may have a possible uti, :-( so he is on antibiotics and have to drop sample off at drs in morning to be sent off.
Only got kids to bed after 8 after being delayed at the hospital and chemist!
On a plus side, booked our 1st family hol as a 5, not been for 3 years so very ready for it! We are away to menorca for 2 weeks on July with our friends Kearan and tamsyn and their 3 children. I so can't wait, even bought the kids some sun hats in the sainsburys sale!
