Fancy being the only ones in fancy dress!!!

WE were invited to Dave Errington's 60th birthday party that we had ben assured was tot he theme of Aviation and the Armed forces....


So with Roxy dressed like RAMBO with combat trousers and Shemagh looking as menacing as she could at 5ft 4"

Jacqui looking all glam with her finest airline pilot outfit on and me not so subtly blending into the background with my day glow RAF flying suit on you can imagine the scene as we walked into he pub full of half cut football fans waiting for the match to start on the big screen... it was like a scene from "Deliverance"

music scratched into silence...

all heads turned to face us

barmaids overfilled drinks as they were distracted from their pumps

.....we felt decidedly uncomfortable

So we ordered some drinks!!!


As it turned out no one else had bothered to get dressed up!!!!
