brought to book

a day off today - ticked off several domestic chores, then wandered up town to see my boss launch his novel this evening. historical fiction isn't really my thing, but i'll read it out of general interest with it being him, obv.

it does spur me on to getting my dozen pages of story out and have another go at getting out of the corner i painted myself into. got out of the mindset when i started filling my brain with other conversations, but i'd like to go back and finish it just for the satisfaction of getting to the end. (i'd like to get it published, but let's be realistic here!)
